SLC UPDATE

We are working hard to implement the largest state conference ever for BPA!  We have1,425 registered! 

Here are some important updates for today. 

CONFLICTS

There is the ALTERNATE CONTEST REQUEST on your homepage in the registration system.  If you have a student that has a conflict between two competitive events/contest – you do NOT need to complete this.  The system knows there is a conflict and will schedule a time accordingly. 

This request is for activities that conflict OUTSIDE of the conference.  E.g. basketball etc.  Please know we do our best to accommodate but we can not guarantee 100%.  All of the events are running extremely full.

JUDGES

We are still in need of Judges for Friday, March 15 -  your assistance in recruiting is greatly appreciated!

CANDIDATES

If you have a candidate for state office, you should have received information regarding your candidate’s status this morning.

OPENING SESSION

The Opening Session will begin at 8:30 pm instead of the 9:00 pm start as previously published.  This is to accommodate the time in the session for a speaker and still be able to start the candidate rally immediately following on time.

APG ASSIGNMENTS

We are working on assigning adult assistance for all events now that we have numbers to be able to see who we need to cover events. 

All Advisors registered for the MN BPA SLC are required to work assignments daily during the conference.   We cannot offer the expanse of opportunities to our students without the assistance of our advisors.  Thank you for helping out with 70+ contests offered to all of the 1,300 students attending this conference. 

When the APG assignments are finalized, they will be posted in the system to the dashboard.
