As a three year member of BPA, Tim made it a goal to become active in the program, which has allowed him to serve in four executive office teams and finalize at two national leadership conferences. Tim’s Hobbies include playing the drums, cars, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.

VP of Communications Mike Kombate

mike.kombate@mnbpa.org

Mike is a four year member of BPA, who is thankful for the opportunity to serve as Minnesota BPA’s first VP of Communications.  After spending nearly a quarter of his life in BPA, Mike is taking this opportunity as a chance to help shape the lives and futures of its members. Just like his life and future were once molded by the people who once stood in his position. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. (Confucius) These are the words that Mike uses to employ his commitment and dedication to everything he does; whether that’s being a member of BPA, serving the community, or setting the stage as a Stage Manager, Mike doesn’t know the meaning of half-hearted and throws his mind, spirit and body into everything he does; making sure to never mark any task or role he’s committed himself to, as complete until he can proudly and honestly say that he gave it his all. When Mike isn’t devoting everything to the people around him he enjoys laying down to watch a good movie and is always willing to go on a trek for free food wherever it may be, with or without his friends.

VP of Development Ignacio Larios

ignacio.larios@mnbpa.org

This is Ignacio Nacho Larios, your 2018-2019 MNBPA Vice President of Development. Nacho has attended the Spring Leadership Conference three times and the National Leadership Conference twice (Florida and Dallas). Nacho’s favorite activity is BPA, for it has offered him the opportunity to travel to other states, meet lots of people, and make life-long memories.  Nacho is involved in a wide variety of activities besides BPA. Marching Band, Speech, Link Crew, and Soccer are just a few of the other activities he enjoys. Other hobbies that he enjoys are: spending time at the lake with his friends, binge-watching shows on Netflix, and volunteering at nursing and retirement homes. Nacho is passionate about helping others and hopes to use this passion in Minnesota BPA!

VP of Specialized Activities Maycee Klein

maycee.klein@mnbpa.org

Maycee is a senior at Ortonville High School. She is a cheerleader for both football and basketball and is also on the fast-pitch softball team. She loves anything to do with the arts and is involved in many art-related activities including choir, band and theatre. She was also elected to be the student representative for the school board. Maycee works as a lifeguard and teaches swimming lessons over the summer and works as a waitress during the school year. She loves coffee, and her family has an espresso machine, so she knows how to make a mean iced mocha. She also loves animals and has two dogs. For any Harry Potter fans out there, she is definitely a Hufflepuff :). She has four younger siblings, three younger sisters at her mom's, and one younger brother at her dad's. Her younger brother is adopted and is arguably one of the cutest babies of all time. If asked, she'll probably have at least five pictures of him ready. She also loves Netflix and has seen the Office way too many times.
