State Officers

Carter Anderson, State President

My name is Carter Anderson, I am a  four-year member, state champion and excited to be serving as your State President this year! I understand first-hand the tremendous positive impact BPA can have on a person, and I want to pay that impact forward to the members of Minnesota BPA.

As we return to an in-person conference following the chaos of COVID, we must reestablish the traditions of BPA while incorporating lessons we learned online. To make sure this happens, I will apply my BPA leadership experience to ensure a great conference for you all.

Tanisha Kota, Executive Vice President

Hi MN BPA, I’m so excited to serve as your ‘21-’22 Executive Vice President. This year, I look forward to competing in person, starting new inter-chapter initiatives, and getting more involved on all of our social media platforms. My favorite aspect of BPA is meeting the diverse array of people from all around the state!

Outside of BPA, I’m involved in Debate, National Honor Society, Figure Skating, Piano and Student Council.  So, MN BPA - I’m excited to help you go Beyond Your Limits this year

Claire Brandenburg, Vice President of Membership Outreach

Hello Minnesota! I am so excited to be your 2021-2022 VP of Member Outreach! Being elected as one of your officers is a goal I have been working towards since I first joined BPA. As your VP of Member Outreach, I hope to bring a closer relationship between the members and state officers. I can be reached anytime if you have any questions!

I am a junior at Watertown Mayer High School and a three-year BPA member. Now elected as your BPA State Officer, I will bring a hardworking, determined, enthusiastic mindset to the state. Through this opportunity, I look forward to collaborating with all of BPA members.

Caryn Marty, Vice President of Development

Hi! I’m Caryn Marty. It is an honor to be your State Vice President of Development and I couldn’t be more excited! BPA has been a huge part of my life the last four years and I believe it allows us to flourish in many aspects of our lives. Being selected to serve as your state officer this year will help me polish my communication and leadership skills. I intend to use those to promote unity, growth, and networking both inside and out of this generous organization. I look forward to helping BPA and its members to grow this year!

Aiden Blaeser, Vice President of Communications

Business Professionals of America motto giving purpose to potential will be my focus this year. My skills of organization, time management, as well as great people skills, will be used to help students reach their highest potential. My energy, positive attitude, leadership skills and love for the organization will show in all I do. I have learned so much the past two years and I want to give back to the organization. I am ready to put the time and effort into making potential a reality for all members.

Max Yantes, Vice President of Specialized Activities

Hello Minnesota! My name is Max Yantes and I’m so excited to be your VP of Specialized Activities! This year I will use my previous experience as a Blaine Chapter officer, Region 4 officer, and Ambassador Torch award recipient to fully enrich the experience of my fellow members.

My thorough involvement within BPA over the past four years, along with my personal drive and dedication, has given me the insight and aspiration to give back everything BPA has given to me. As a state officer, I will maximize and diversify everyone’s experiences as they return to BPA for this year.
