Do you
have what it takes to be a Minnesota BPA State Officer?
If you are up to the
challenge then please read through the following lists of requirements and
qualifications.
Being a state officer
is a great way to get more involved in BPA, have even more fun, and receive
numerous benefits!
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a member of Minnesota Business
Professionals of America, Secondary Association
- Must pass a written test with a minimum
of 70%
- Submit a campaign expenditures statement
- Be able to serve from October 25th
through the close of the 2009 Fall Leadership Conference
- No more than two applicants are allowed
from each school
- Must be a full-time high school student
Personal Qualifications
- Be prepared to meet the duties of their
position
- Must attend State Officer Training
sessions
- Must attend the Minnesota Spring &
Fall Leadership Conferences
- Should attend the National Leadership
Conference and serve as a voting delegate
- Must attend officer meetings as called
for by the State Executive Director
- Shall assist in the planning,
organization, operation, and evaluation of all Minnesota BPA activities
- Must submit a monthly report documenting
all state officer activities to the State Office.
- Must maintain close contact with the
State Executive Director.
- Shall promote the growth and development
of Minnesota BPA
